Photo and Video Policy

At Lakeshore Bible Church (“Lakeshore”), we believe photos, videos, and other forms of media play an important role in telling our story and strengthening our church community. Visual media helps guests understand who we are and what they can expect, celebrates those who serve, and allows us to share our mission with people both inside and outside the church through print, digital, and online platforms.

For these purposes, photography, videography, live streaming, and other forms of recording may occur during Lakeshore’s worship services, ministry gatherings, classes, programs, and special events.

Commitment to Respectful Use

While Lakeshore reserves the right to photograph and record church events, we are committed to using media in ways that are respectful, appropriate, and consistent with our values and compliant with the statutes found in ARS 13-3019. We will not knowingly or intentionally publish any photo, video, or recording that could reasonably be considered embarrassing, objectionable, or harmful to a clearly identifiable individual.

Use of Media

Media captured at Lakeshore events may be used by or on behalf of Lakeshore in materials produced for church-related purposes, including but not limited to printed publications, digital communications, our website, bulletins, and social media platforms.

By attending or participating in Lakeshore services, ministry activities, classes, programs, or events, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded;

  2. Lakeshore may use recordings that include your image, likeness, voice, or statements for ministry, promotional, informational, or publicity purposes, without compensation, credit, or other consideration;

  3. Such use may occur in any medium now known or later developed, worldwide and in perpetuity; and

  4. You release and hold harmless Lakeshore Bible Church, its staff, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, demands, or liability arising out of or related to the use of such media.

Children and Minors

Lakeshore Bible Church places a high priority on the safety, privacy, and dignity of children and minors. We exercise particular care when capturing and using media that includes individuals under the age of 18.

As a general practice, Lakeshore seeks to minimize the use of identifiable photos or videos of children in promotional or public-facing materials. When a minor is clearly recognizable and Lakeshore intends to use such media for promotional or communication purposes, permission will be obtained from a parent or legal guardian prior to publication whenever reasonably possible.

Lakeshore also avoids identifying minors by name or including personal information in any published media.

If a parent or legal guardian has concerns about the use of an image or recording that includes their child, or wishes to request removal of such media from a Lakeshore-managed platform, they may contact us at: info@lakeshorebible.net. Lakeshore will make reasonable efforts to address such requests in a timely manner.

Removal Requests and Third-Party Media

If you see an image of yourself or your child on a Lakeshore-managed website or social media platform and would like to request its removal, please contact us at: info@lakeshorebible.net. Please note that we are unable to remove individuals from previously recorded videos or live-streamed content.

Additionally, Lakeshore does not control and cannot remove photos, videos, or recordings captured and shared by individuals who are not acting on behalf of the church, including attendees or community members, whether online or in print.
